NSTA Membership Options

  1. Active: Any individual, firm, corporation or other entity which is and remains in good standing with the NSTA and which is actively and regularly engaged in the wholesale distribution and/or conditioning of seeds for planting and which maintains an active and regular place of business in the Northern region of the United States of America or in a Canadian province.
  2. Associate: Any individual, firm, corporation or other entity which is engaged in or connected with the seed industry or its allied branches and which supports the tax-exempt purposes and policies of the NSTA.  Associate members shall not be limited by geographic location in a particular state or province.
  3. Honorary: Any individual, who through his or her past and valued contributions to the seed industry and/or the NSTA is recommended by the President and unanimously approved by the Board of Directors as an honorary member.  Honorary members shall be exempt from dues payments and shall be without voting privileges.  The number of recommendations for Honorary membership shall be limited to not more than one (1) each calendar year.
  4. Reciprocal Partner: Any association, agency or organization with like mission to the NSTA, connected with the seed industry or its allied branches is invited to request a reciprocal partner membership. As reciprocal partner members, each organization agrees to exchange the following: Exchange of membership contact lists. Reciprocally extend one Complimentary Attendee Registration to organization’s annual meeting or equivalent. This will be extended reciprocally to allow President or other officer to attend and represent the partner membership organization. Additional attendees from reciprocal partners can register and attend however non-membership attendee registration rates would apply. Reciprocal Partner requests are subject to board approval and in the case that a request is not approved, associate membership may be available, if qualifications are met.
